Clinical counseling services are available only to currently enrolled UMHB students who find themselves in need of assistance with a wide variety of difficulties ranging from decision-making to personal awareness and understanding. Counseling services are offered on a short-term basis by appointment only. When appropriate, referrals are made to mental health providers in the local area. Students can be assured they are receiving top-quality, professional counseling in a completely confidential setting. Fees for services are available upon request.

Support groups are offered each semester to assist you in areas of need and personal growth. Groups cover a variety of topics ranging from self-esteem, emotional coping, and stress management to relationship issues and setting healthy boundaries in life. Experiencing the encouragement and support of others in these group contexts offers wonderful opportunities for growth.
